Attack of the Giant Bee
Created by: Neil Fendell
Sponsored by: Farleigh Hospice House Clearance
Location: Chelmsford War Memorial – Duke Street
A playful twist on scale and surprise, Attack of the Giant Bee transforms a familiar insect into an oversized visitor in a miniature world. With bold stripes, solid wings, and a commanding presence, the bee hovers over a cluster of tiny, honeycomb-like buildings. This sculpture invites you to imagine what happens when nature takes a detour through the unexpected.
